Got a question? We’re here to help.
While some fisheries are subject to seasonality, South Florida is one of the rare locales that truly has a 12-month fishing season. Nearly every species we catch is possible throughout the entire year. We regularly catch sailfish, king mackerel, dolphin(mahi-mahi), tuna, barracuda, amberjack, shark, and a variety of bottom fish. Other fish we can specifically target include swordfish, tarpon, permit, pompano, cobia, and marlin. Our primary goal is to get you as much action as possible but we will also customize your trip to focus on a particular catch if you wish.
On the ride out, we may stop to supplement our supply of fresh live bait. This typically takes very little time. Once offshore, we assess the sea and fishing conditions, which vary from day to day. We move around as conditions dictate to pursue the best possible action available. Upon our return to the dock, we will lay your catch out for photographs.
Yes! We will be happy to clean, bag, and ice the edible catch for you. We'll even share a few of Capt. Mike's famous recipes.
Bring whatever you'd like to eat or drink (we provide plenty of bottled water). Alcoholic beverages are okay, but try to steer away from glass bottles. We recommend wearing plenty of sunscreen, some type of hat or visor, and polarized sunglasses. Non-marking, soft-soled shoes are a must. We have ample cooler space and ice. Bring along a cooler bag to carry fish home.
Unless we determine that the weather is bad, as determined by Capt. Mike, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit your deposit.
While it's usually a game-time decision, we keep track of forecasts and discuss the weather as we approach the trip. Our goal is for you to come back time and time again, so if we feel that the conditions will be uncomfortable or unfavorable, we will cancel or reschedule at no cost to you.
The recommended tip for a typical day of fishing is 15-20%. We employ only world-class mates who understand that the tip is a reflection of how hard they work to help achieve your expectations.
